“Important steps have been taken in international economic policy and trade towards industrial visa-free regime with the EU. A previous EU assessment mission presented a final report on Ukraine's infrastructure readiness for the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA). This was preceded by 7 months of hard work,” Shmygal said.
According to the Prime Minister, the government plans to negotiate on concluding an industrial visa-free regime.
As it was reported earlier, the issue of renewing the Association Agreement as well as deepening Ukraine's integration into various sectors of the European economy and, in particular, the industrial visa-free regime was raised in October 2020 at the Ukraine-EU summit in Brussels.
