Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers expanded the list of goods banned to import from Russia. Such decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday, April 10. The session was broadcasted on air of 112 Ukraine.
According to the document, available at RBC-Ukraine, the embargo is now extended to formalin and carbamide-formaldehyde concentrate, springs for freight wagons, electrical equipment for railway automation and communication devices, and electric conductors for voltage above 1000V.
Another decision imposed sanction on the import of glass containers, including cans, bottles for food and beverages, containers, etc. The Cabinet of Ministers noted that, according to the State Statistics Service, in 2018, the import of glass containers from Russia exceeded $8 million, which is almost twice as much as in 2017.
As it was reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the agreement on the military and technical cooperation with the government of Myanmar. It is expected that this agreement will promote the development of bilateral military and technical cooperation to increase the level of the military capacity of the armed forces of both states and strengthening of the international authority of Ukraine.
Ukraine also plans to conclude a memorandum on the cooperation in the sphere of space research with Nigeria.
