"It is very important that leaders of European states, president of the EU and president of the European Commission do everything possible to ensure implementation and to complete the ratification of the Association Agreement and its happening now. The agreement is beginning to work in full on September 1, and for us, for Ukrainians, it will be only program, a road map for further implementation of the reforms outlined in the association agreement," he said.

Poroshenko said that the last two months were "months of victories for Ukraine."

"Indeed, it's pleasant to say that the EU has sustained its position and, after a very tense reform program, has granted Ukraine and Ukrainians the right to travel visa-free to the EU," he said.
