Ukraine does not believe that it is reasonable to change Minsk and Normandy format negotiations on settlement of situation in Donbas. This was reported by President Petro Poroshenko during the briefing in Washington, broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"We do not see the need to change "Normandy" format or having any other parallel trend of Minsk process. We have indeed discussed greater involvement of our American partners in the Normandy format, we are fully open and welcome these steps and will appreciate more active participation, including representativity in terms of Minsk process, including Trilateral Contact Group. We believe that it may revitalize, reload and bring new results," he noted.

Ukrainian President is concluding his visit to the US today evening (Kyiv time). It is already known that tomorrow, June 22, president will head to Brussels, where he is to meet with the heads of the European Council and the European People's Party, and will also take part in the EPP Summit. Head of State is going to inform partners on escalation in Donbas among other things.
