Ukraine left the CIS and does not conduct any activity within the organization, as Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
Klimkin said that Ukraine does not participate in the CIS. For now, the country is focused on the reforms.
“We have left the CIS officially. We do not conduct any activity within the CIS. The only thing we do, we finish the preview of all the deals in a way that we do not kill all the deals which we don’t need and leave some important ones for the Ukrainians within the context of pension coverage, within the context of recognition of the diplomas,” Klimkin said.
Besides, he stated that the invitation to the session of the Council of Foreign Ministers was “a failed joke”.
“As the most important thing we have to be concerned about are people. Speaking of such invitations, I believe that it is a failed joke, but there are a lot of failed jokes. They should learn how to make jokes well,” Pavlo Klimkin said.
