Ukraine should not refuse from Minsk agreements, despite the fact that the Russian Federation is not fulfilling its obligations. Otherwise, it will lead to the loss of support from the European Union and to relaxation of sanctions against Russia. This was stated by the former US Ambassador to Ukraine Steven Pifer in his Twitter.
According to a survey conducted by Gorshenin Institute, 51% of Ukrainians believe that the Minsk agreements are harmful to Ukraine, as Russia has not fulfilled its obligations, according to Pifer.
"Ukraine should not refuse from Minsk agreements. Or it will lose EU support of the and it is likely to lead to a weakening of sanctions against Russia. There is no other way except for the negotiations," he wrote.
Earlier it was reported that the road map of Minsk agreements is not instrument of peace, according to the experts.
