Ukraine’s Presidential Administration discussed the bill on “On state policy regarding the restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty” with key foreign partners. This was announced by the deputy head of the Administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev in his interview for Radio Liberty.
The key mission of the bill is to show president's strategy and policy concerning resuming the sovereignty and reintegration of the occupied territories of eastern Ukraine politically and diplomatically, Yeliseyev noted. Minsk agreement implementation will be put into the basis of this process.
“At the moment we work in contact with our key partners under Ukraine’s Security and Defense Council’s instructions. First of all we work with the United States, Germany, France to coordinate this project. We have already received first encouraging reaction from partners,” Administration official said.
The bill basically concerns temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Yeliseyev said.
As it was reported earlier Ukraine will not discuss draft law on Donbas reintegration during Minsk talks. Modifying Ukrainian laws is the exclusive and sovereign right of the state, according to Ukraine’s envoy in Minsk group.
