Earlier the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to allocate $9.5 million to the construction of a runway strip at the Odesa international airport. The institution points out that the construction of the new runway strip will allow to accommodate heavier types of aircraft including Boeing 767, which could lead to a two-fold increase in passenger flow. The runway capacity of the new strip will be two times greater than that of the current one.
