Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov said that since March 17, Ukraine will completely block the air traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic. He said this on the air of Newsone TV Channel.

“The air communication in Ukraine will be completely limited from March 17, from 00:00. Land and sea communications will continue to work, our citizens will be able to return to the country,” Razumkov said.

He added that the National Security and Defence Council prepared a list of preventive measures that will be implemented in the near future. It is also noted that the Parliament will continue working.

"I am sure that in any case next week, we will observe an extraordinary meeting of the parliament, at which bills will be adopted that are necessary today to ensure the work of various institutions. The entire power vertical will be involved," claimed the official.

As we reported before, in the next 48 hours, Ukraine will close its border for foreigners for two weeks. Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will warn all the institutions and all countries that the border will be closed for two weeks.
