According to the ministry, the pilgrims and stateless persons who cross the Ukrainian state border should have insurance policy, which covers expenses for treatment of Covid-19 and observation. The insurance policy should act during the whole period of stay in Ukraine.
Besides, the foreigners should have one of such documents:
- negative result of the PCR test for Covid-19 (issued not more than 72 hours before border crossing)
- negative result of express test for antigen of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (issued not more than 72 hours before border crossing);
- document that confirms full course of inoculation against Covid-19 by the vaccines included in the WHO list;
- foreign Covid-19 certificate issued by the state with which Ukraine has concluded the treaty on the mutual recognition of Covid-certificates.
"In case the mentioned documents are absent, and if the person who should pass self-isolation cannot or refuses to install the Vdoma app, the entry to Ukraine will be banned,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
Earlier, Ukraine tightened its entry rules due to the Delta strain spread. The new requirements will apply to both foreigners and citizens of Ukraine.
