Ukraine bans import of Russian wheat, sunflower oil from April

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has updated the list of goods from the Russian Federation that cannot be imported to Ukraine with such items as wheat, sunflower oil, cleaning agents, paper. The proper governmental regulation #269 dated March 29, 2021, was published at the governmental portal.

According to the document, the list of banned goods will be also updated with surface-active agents, newspaper, cardboard, kraft paper and kraft cardboard, toilet paper, cleansing tissues, hand towels, tablecloths and napkins.

Besides, cases, boxes, sacks, bags, ropes made from special steel, tools for boring,  carts and bogies, axial pins, wheels and their parts included on the list.

The regulation comes into force ten days after the publication.

As we reported, the government of Russia made a decision to ban the import of railway wheels, pairs of wheels, and truck frames of wagons from Ukraine.
