National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine Energoatom and American company Westinghouse Electric signed a memorandum on the construction of the Khmelnitskyi Nuclear Power Plant. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter.
"I commend the signing of a memorandum between NNEGC Energoatom and Westinghouse Electric Westinghouse on the joint construction of the Khmelnytskyi NPP power unit as a pilot project and 4 more units under their technology in the future. The total cost of the project is up to $30 billion," the message says.

During his visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also met with NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. According to him, during the meeting with the head of NASA, he had discussed with Bill Nelson the projects Ukraine can join with its unique space technologies.
