According to the research of the Oxford University (UK), Ukraine belongs to the list of countries with the slowest tempo of the vaccination of population against coronavirus as Our World in Data reported.

The researchers studied rates of vaccinated citizens per 100 people of the population in each country since the beginning of the vaccination.

According to the diagram, Israel is in the first place on the tempo of vaccination as of April 4, where the rate of population vaccination made 116.79 people per 100 citizens. On April 3, this rate made 116.40.

The UK is in second place with 54.36 vaccinated people per 100 citizens as of April 3. The U.S. occupied the third position with 49.35 citizens per 100 people. Serbia, Qatar, Turkey, Spain, France, Poland and Germany entered the TOP 10.

Ukraine with its vaccination tempo is among the last countries: as of April 2, 0.66 citizens were vaccinated per 100 people; as of April 4 – 0.67.

According to the vaccination tempo, even less developed countries are ahead of Ukraine: as of April 3, Zimbabwe has a 0.89 rate, Rwanda – 2.69, Nepal – 5.49, and Guyana – 5.14.

On April 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed decree No. 139 on vaccination of Ukrainians against coronavirus, providing for the creation of a National Vaccination Plan against Covid-19.
