Liverpool and Real fans will be transported by special shuttles and by subway in Kyiv during the Champions League final in Kyiv, as Serhy Symonov, the Head of Kyiv City Council transport infrastructure department said, the press office of the department reports.
According to him, the logistics of transporting in the city is thought out to the last detail. The shuttles will be organized in such a way that the fans of two teams will not meet. The passage in these buses and subway will be free for people who have a ticket of accreditation to the game.
“After Euro 2012 many fans from Sweden discovered Kyiv and continue coming here. I am sure that we will present Kyiv properly this time as well. Both English and Spanish fans will come back here many times,” Symonov stated.
As it was reported, traffic on Khreshchatyk Street in Kyiv is limited since today till the end of May. A fan-zone will be set there.
Earlier, the representatives of Kyiv City Council stated that the work of city passenger traffic will be prolonged for three hours on the night of May 26 to May 27 due to the organized transportation by the ground transport which runs near subway stations.
It should be noted that the Champions League final will be held in Kyiv on May 26. English Liverpool and Spanish Real will meet to play the big game.
