The risk of ISIL terrorist attack in Kyiv during Champions League final in Kyiv was made up to intimidate people, as Olena Hytlanska, SBU Spokesperson, wrote on Facebook.

“Indeed, a message on the behalf of ISIL, a terrorist organization, emerged in one of the social networks about allegedly planned terrorist attacks in Kyiv on May 26 during UEFA Champions League final,” she wrote.

According to Hytlanska, the message was being posted from the accounts not related to ISIL.

“Therefore, we believe that the informational “spread” was made to intimidate people and spread panic among the residents and guests of Ukraine’s capital,” she stressed.

As mass media reported, the ISIL leaders have allegedly called the terrorist for attacking the football fans in Ukraine’s capital using cold arms or motor transport in their private groups in Telegram.
