UAE abolishes ban on Ukraine’s poultry import

Temporarily restrictions were introduced because of an outbreak of bird flu

The United Arab Emirates lifted temporary restrictions on the import of Ukrainian domestic, wild birds and their products that were introduced for Ukraine due to the cases of highly pathogenic bird flu outbreaks. This was reported by Glavcom.ua with the reference to the World Trade Organization.

"The restrictions, in particular, are removed for the import of poultry meat, one-day-old young animals and eggs," the report says.

As it was reported earlier Iraq lifted ban on export of Ukrainian poultry on June 22. The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported this.
