Two Ukrainians who returned home from Georgia to Ukraine by the hitchhiking went missing near Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Their friends and relatives claimed about this as Ukrainian truth reported.

According to the edition, the lost are 25-years old Oleksandr Babynets and 28-years old Sergy Velev.

According to the mother of Oleksandr Babynets, they traveled by the hitchhiking from Georgia to Ukraine through Russia. The men are the workers of the restaurant business and were interested in the Georgian cuisine.

They got in touch every three days during the trip.

Approximately, they left Georgia on September 30 and destined for home by the short path on the Caucasus highway through Kabardino-Balkaria, Stavropol and Krasnodar Krai of Russia. According to the mother, they planned to come back to Ukraine the same way as they left through Kharkiv region passing Russian Belgorod. They way run through Rostov-on-Don.

The men got in touch near Rostov-on-Don for the last time. Oleksandr sent to the mother their geolocation about 6 pm on October 7.

The woman reported that she appealed to the local police and the Embassy of Ukraine to Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the special services of Russia detained citizen of Ukraine Pavlo Gryb who crossed the border of Belarus in August. The Ukrainian is withheld at the pretrial detention center of FSB in Krasnodar Krai.
