Two participants of action in support of Serhiy Sternenko, which took place near the President's Office in March, were served with charges for violation of state symbols in addition to the suspicion of hooliganism. Ukrainian News reports this regarding a source.
"David Gadzhimuradov and Yevhen Strokan were served with charges. Article 338 was added to these two (Violation of state symbols)," the statement reads.
The maximum penalty under this article is up to 3 years in prison.
As we reported earlier, supporters of the radical activist Serhiy Sternenko held a protest under the building of the President's Office. Protesters throw flares into the building, several windows are broken.
