Turnout in Ukrainian presidential elections 16.8% as of 11 a.m., - CEC

The voters' turnout in the presidential elections in Ukraine is 16.08% as of 11:00 a.m., the data was collected from 81 out of 199 district constituencies around the country. The Central Election Commission (CEC) posted on its website.

CEC received the data about the activity of voters in 81 constituencies around Ukraine, except Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. The total amount of district constituencies is 199.

As of 11 a. m., the highest turnout was recorded in Kirovoрrad region – 21.61%.

The voting process will end at 8:00 PM. The online broadcast of all the evens concerned the elections is available here.

The Central Election Committee approved a list of 39 presidential candidates in Ukraine. The voters' list contains 35.6 million Ukrainian citizens. More than 315,000 Ukrainians changed voting places shortly before the presidential election.

The election campaign has officially started on December 31, 2018. The election will most likely come in two rounds this time. The first one is slated for this Sunday, March 31. The second round is expected to take place in late April.
