A Turkish ship flying the flag of Palau crashed into a berth in Chornomorsk, Ukrainian Shipping Magazine reports.

"The HAKSA general cargo ship (flag of Palau) collided with the berth in the port of Chernomorsk on October 22," the statement said.

The ship did not have time to brake, so it crashed its nose into the berth № 18 of the Chornomorsk port. It is unknown if there are victims.

The ship was reportedly leaving the Turkish port of Gebze under the flag of Palau (an island nation in Micronesia). HAKSA was built in 1993. Its deadweight (mass) is 3092.

As it was reported, in October during performance of tasks in the Black Sea water area near Odesa region the warship of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Balta" was damaged. The ship was damaged by a severe storm, which returned it to its permanent location in the city of Odesa.
