Turkey provides Bayraktar combat drone to Ukraine, - Poroshenko

Turkey has provided Ukraine with unmanned combat aerial vehicle Bayraktar as 112 Ukraine reported citing President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

“Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have adopted and purchased modern unmanned aerial vehicle complexes produced in Ukraine. This year unmanned aerial combat surveillance and reconnaissance system “Sokil” was adopted and its production will start soon. Now, the testing of new powerful unmanned combat aerial vehicle Bayraktar will take place; I succeeded to agree on its supplies with Recep Tayyip Erdogan. These complexes stay in the territory of Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.

As it was reported earlier, Ukraine purchases Bayraktar TB2, the combat drones developed by Turkish designers; they can carry missiles and are capable of engaging the naval targets. Petro Poroshenko, the Ukrainian leader said this.

Bayraktar TB2 are capable to develop the maximum speed of 222 km per hour. The effective flight range makes 150 kilometers; it can be armed with anti-tank guided missiles and aviation bombs.
