Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko tells FBN’s Liz Claman in an exclusive interview that President Trump and Defense Secretary Mattis have said they are ready to support his nation, including with military and technical cooperation.

As it was reported earlier Ukraine’s President held speech at the General Assembly session on Wednesday.
Later Poroshenko, at a meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump, said he hoped for US support, including in the issue of the introduction of UN peacekeepers in Donbas. Poroshenko thanked Trump for the meeting, noting the importance of US support in the "difficult time for Ukraine."
"We are grateful for the meeting, we expect that we will receive support from the US at such a difficult time for Ukraine, we hope for support regarding the peacekeeping mission and economic reforms," the head of state said.
President Donald Trump responded favorably to a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko. The corresponding comment he posted on his page on Twitter.
"It was wonderful to have President Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine with us in New York City today," he wrote.
