Trump eliminates duties for number of Ukrainian goods

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a duty-free Decree regarding a number of goods for Ukraine. the appropriate Decree is already published on the official website of the White House. 

The decision was made due to the fact that "Ukraine has progressed in providing adequate and effective security and protection of intellectual property rights". The President's Decree will come into effect in five days after the publishing.

It is not specified in Trump's statement which kind of products were included in the duty-free treatment.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky experienced the pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump before he became the president. 

In May Zelensky met with Advisor Andriy Yermak, Head of the President’s Office Andriy Bohdan and Head of Naftogaz-Ukraine Andriy Kobolev. They discussed the demand of Trump to hold an investigation in Biden case.

It should be noted that the meeting was dedicated to energy needs of Ukraine; however, most of the time they discussed how to hold the investigation on the request of Trump.
