President of the USA Donald Trump excepted all the worries that America's withdrawal from Northern Syria will lead to the entry of the Russian troops to those regions, as Bloomberg informed.

"Syria may have some help with Russia and that’s fine," Trump said. "It’s a lot of sand. They’ve got a lot of sand over there, so there’s a lot of sand they can play with."

Trump rejected the notion that he gave Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan a green light for the invasion and also was dismissive of the Kurds. "They’re not angels," he said of the Kurds.

Trump insisted the U.S. shouldn’t get involved in any conflict between Turkey and Syria.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey would stop offensive against Syria in case Kurdish fighters lay down arms and get out of the planned "safe" zone. He also criticized NATO members for their refusal to support the military operation in Syria.
