Trilateral Contact Group continues working on imprisoned people’s release, - Olifer

The constructive work on the release of the political prisoners is continuing during the session of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG). This was reported by the press secretary of Ukraine’s representative Leonid Kuchma after the meeting on August 21.

“The constructive work on the mutual release of the detained people is still continuing,” press secretary Darka Olifer wrote on her Facebook page.

She did not inform about other details.

As it was reported earlier, the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) in Minsk had come to an agreement about the beginning of mine clearance of the adjoining territories of Stanytsia Luhanska bridge in eastern Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian side gave its suggestions relating to the bridge reconstruction in Stanytsia Luhanska. The reached agreements about mine clearance of the adjoining territories to the bridge would start from tomorrow. Before the start the checkpoint and symbols of ORDLO illegal military formations should be removed, the following restoration of fortification buildings in Stanytsia Luhanska region has to be simultaneous and clear,” Olifer wrote on her Facebook.
