Three Ukrainians, who were climbing the mountains of North Ossetia from Georgia, came under an avalanche, TASS reports.

"At 08:50 on August 31, the search and rescue team of the Emergency Service for Republic of North Ossetia–Alania received a report from an eyewitness that an avalanche descended in Kazbek Mountain, which hit a group of climbers," rescuers report.

According to them, three Ukrainians were injured by the avalanche. A Georgian helicopter was called in to rescue them, as the Ukrainians did not register their stay in the Russian republic.
