Ukraine's top diplomat Dmytro Kuleba called for broad EU sanctions against Russia

During the visit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States, three blocks of issues will be discussed - political, economic and in security sphere. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Ukraine 24 TV channel.

"The first is a political block. We have had a strategic partnership with the United States since 2008. Of course, everything has changed during this time and this strategic partnership needs to be brought to a new level. Therefore, this is the first task," Dmytro Kuleba said.

He added that the second block will be on security.

"We all understand that this is counteraction to the Russian aggressor, the issue of Donbas, the issue of Crimea, where and how we will move. We will discuss some very specific ideas, I cannot share them yet. The conversation on this issue was substantive," the minister said.

The third block we will discuss economic issues, in particular U.S. investment in Ukraine.

"We do not hide that we want to see more American money in the Ukrainian economy. Especially in strategic areas of our economy. We can build a very effective partnership with American businesses and American financial institutions. We are preparing for the visit specific projects with names, numbers, deadlines that we will pass for consideration by the American side," the Foreign Minister added.

As it was reported, the United States is waiting for the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Washington on August 30. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and the Chair of the President's Office Andriy Yermak were in Washington to prepare for the upcoming visit of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States.
