The Health Economics Center of the Kyiv School of Economics told when the next outbreak of coronavirus will take place in Ukraine. The head of school Yuriy Hanichenko commented on this, as RBC-Ukraine writes.

It is reported that the probability of a Covid-19 burst is quite high.

There are two predictions which the authorities are considering:

  • optimistic variant (the incidence may occur in the second half of September),
  • pessimistic variant (the incidence may occur in the second half of August).

However, Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) believes that a fairly rapid outbreak will occur in the first half of August.

It is noted that now all regions of Ukraine are on the minimum plateau, having a fairly low incidence rate. They all stopped showing a drop in morbidity. This is the basis for the outbreak to begin.

The World Health Organization announced the start of the third wave of Covid-19 back on July 15.
