The third Ukrainian plane with evacuated people on board has left Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan as European Truth reported citing Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba at the Crimean Platform.
“While we discuss the issue of Crimea, the third Ukrainian plane with evacuated people on board has left Kabul. We would like other countries also to evacuate their citizens and Afghan people who are in danger,” Kuleba said but did not specify the number of evacuated Ukrainians.
Earlier, Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak stated that over 100 Ukrainian citizens remain in Afghanistan.
On August 15, Ukraine evacuated from Afghanistan on its plane Ukrainians and the citizens of four more countries. Later, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky specified on Twitter that almost 80 people were evacuated from Afghanistan on the Ukrainian plane. The number includes eight Ukrainians and citizens of other states who asked about the urgent evacuation.
On August 22, An Il-76MD military aircraft from Afghanistan landed in Ukraine and evacuated 83 people. Most of them are foreigners.
