President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulates Mariupol residents with third anniversary of liberation from militants of the so called ‘DNR’. A short post on this occasion published on the Facebook page of the head of state.
"Congratulations on the third anniversary of the liberation of Mariupol," the president wrote.
Also, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy congratulated the citizens of Mariupol, the press service of the parliament reports.
"Magical Ukrainian Mariupol is an important strategic and industrial center of our country. Thanks to the courage and heroism of soldiers of the National Guard, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteers three years ago, the city was liberated. And the guarantee of its further development and prosperity is primarily you, the citizens of our Azov pearls. After all, your patriotism, the desire to live in a free Ukrainian land helped in the liberation of Mariupol, which is currently being rebuilt and becomes more and more comfortable place. Your example inspires for liberating from invaders all Ukrainian lands. I bow to all those who freed Mariupol and continues to protect Ukraine from Moscow's insidious enemy! Eternal memory and glory to the heroes who died defending their homeland, "the statement says.
Parubiy also wished all a final victory over the aggressor.
