Prime Minister of Great Britain Theresa May congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky with victory in the presidential elections in Ukraine. British PM wrote on her Twitter.

Theresa May pointed out that she hoped for the fruitful cooperation and promised to continue supporting the sovereignty of Ukraine.
“Congratulations to Volodymyr Zelenskiy on your election success. Ukraine’s stability is essential for Europe’s security, and I look forward to working closely with you. The UK is steadfast in its support for Ukrainian sovereignty,” Theresa May wrote.
Earlier, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky with the victory in the presidential race and promised him support from the EU.
Juncker also attached the letter, in which President of the European Council Donald Tusk joined the ‘congratulations.
According to the National exit poll, Volodymyr Zelensky has 73,2%, while Petro Poroshenko got 25,3%.
