People’s deputy Volodymyr Parasyuk claims he didn’t hit a policeman in Donetsk region. He considers such reports a provocation, directed at discrediting the trade blockade. MP reported this in a commentary to “112 Ukraine” TV channel.

It is noteworthy that police opened a criminal case against Volodymyr Parasyuk, the people’s deputy from Verkhovna Rada, for beating the policeman at the railway trade blockade with the occupied territories in Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast.

The officer from Bakhmut police department called the local hospital with chest bruising and was hospitalized.

Volodymyr Parasyuk thinks that the police officer’s claim of beating at Bakhmut blockade was made to discredit the trade embargo.

“These are certainly provocations to discredit the blockade. Three buses filled with unknown people are being accompanied by police to the blockade now. I think that some sort of confrontation will happen in the evening on one of the roadblocks,” MP said.
