Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the European Commission, stated he saw no difference between the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and elected President Volodymyr Zelensky concerning the matter of Russia, as he said in an interview for Rzeczpospolita.
“I was listening to the statements of the elected President and I did not find any significant difference between his and Poroshenko if we talk about Russia. The fact that he wants to end war in the east of Ukraine does not help Moscow,” Junker said.
At the same time, he did not evaluate the future President.
“We will see. We will be supporting Ukraine. I always stress that fight with corruption has to be enhanced,” the President of the European Commission said.
