Avoiding another car, the driver crashed into a monument

The Volkswagen car ruined a memorial to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes on Grushevska street in Kyiv. The accident occurred around 2 am on December 12. This was reported on Facebook page of Kyiv Operative.

According to the driver who crashed into a monument, he was moving towards the European Square. Near the main entrance to the Stadium of Valeriy Lobanovskiy he was "cut" by another car, and avoiding the hit he reluctantly crashed into the memorial. No one was hurt because of the accident.

The driver of Volkswagen is looking for witnesses to the accident.

Earlier it was reported that bas-relief depicting Heavenly Hundred opens in Ivano-Frankivsk. Another memorial site dedicated to the deceased Euromaidan protesters and policemen emerged in the western-Ukrainian city.
