The capacity of Ukrainian hospitals for Covid-19 patients makes almost 65%

Totally, over 43,000 beds in Ukraine are equipped for coronavirus patients

As of November 4, 64.7% of beds for patients with Covid-19 are occupied in Ukraine. Totally, there are over 43,000 beds in the country as the Health Ministry reported.

The unfavorable situation with the occupation rate of the hospitals is observed in Poltava region – 93%, Zhytomyr region – 81.1% and Rivne region – 79.2%. in Kyiv, 64.2% of beds for Covid-19 treatment are occupied.

Less than 50% of beds are occupied only in three regions – Cherkassy (43.2%), Mykolaiv (50%) and Kyrovohrad (44.1%).

According to the Health Ministry, there is no region in Ukraine that is ready for the mitigation of quarantine. The incidence rate with coronavirus is exceeded in all regions. Averagely, this rate makes 282.5, while the norm is 40. The worst situation is observed in Chernivtsi region (571.9). In Kyiv, this rate makes 299.3.

As we reported, 9,850 new cases of coronavirus infection were observed in Ukraine over the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 430,467 people have been diagnosed with the disease: 184,782 people have managed to recover (+8,378 per day), 7924 have succumbed to the disease (+193).
