Thank Avakov for not having medical cannabis in Ukraine, - Suprun

According to Suprun, the Ministry of Health tried to change the decree twice but the Ministry of Internal Affairs banned a decision-making

Former Minister of Healthcare Ulana Suprun stated that Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov had blocked twice the recategorizing of medical cannabis from drugs class, which are prohibited, to the class of substances the circulation of which is limited. The video was published by Taras Ratushnyy on Facebook.

"We applied the changes to the decree during the last government's session demanding to make medical cannabis available for patients. Everything was agreed on with the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance... The only one who banned was Avakov and the Ministry of Internal Affairs," Suprun said.

According to her, the Ministry of Health tried to change the decree twice, and the Interior Ministry banned the decision-making every time. 

As the representatives of the Ministry explained, to recategorize medical cannabis to the class of substances with limited circulation the changes in the Criminal Code of Ukraine are necessary.
