Thailand introduces visa-free regime for Ukrainians

Ukrainians will have an opportunity to visit Thailand without visa formalities for up to 30 days

Thailand Government imposed visa-free regime for Ukrainians who visit this country as tourists for up to 30 days, as the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.

“I welcome the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukraine! From now on, Ukrainians can travel to this country without wasting their time for visa procedures with a touristic aim for up to 30 days,” Poroshenko wrote.

Earlier, Thailand Government had temporarily canceled consular fee for processing Thai tourist visa for Ukrainians since December 1, 2018 till January 31, 2019.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian passport took 44th place in world passport rating "Passport Index" 2018, published by Henley & Partners international company.  

According to the rating, the Ukrainian passport provides visa-free access to 90 states. One can obtain visa on arrival to 41 countries and process visa before visiting 67 states.
