It is noted that on January 6, the meeting of the local commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies took place and the information was provided by medical employees about the incidence of coronavirus in Ternopil.
It was reported that during the past days, the growth of Covid-19 incidence is not observed in Ternopil.
“Considering this fact, the commission made a decision not to enhance the quarantine from January 8 and not to introduce extra restrictions in the territory of Ternopil community. Anti-epidemic measures adopted earlier will only act. It means that from Monday, January 11, at all Ternopil schools, the education will continue – the students of primary schools will visit lessons as usual, while students of other grades will use the mixed form of education. We also recommend the economic entities not to stop their entrepreneurship from January 8 but work as usual,” City Head of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal noted.
It is noted that the number of hospitalizations, infected citizens reduces, as well as the number of cases among children and employees of the educational facilities.
During the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors detected 6,911 new cases of Covid-19. 1,090,496 people got sick with coronavirus in Ukraine since the pandemic began. 761,898 recovered (+14,490 over day), and 19,357 deceased (+228) .
