The fines are stipulated by Articles 470, 481, 485 of Ukraine’s Customs Code. The biggest amount of fines was issued in 2016, estimating 6 mln USD.

Since the beginning of 2015, there were 28,898 offences concerning temporary import of cars to Ukraine.

Overall, since 2015, 24,648 cars didn’t leave Ukraine’s territory (1,076 of them – by residents, and 23,572 – non-residents of the country).

The owners of cars temporarily imported to Ukraine occasionally campaign for accepting the bill #5567, which will allow to ease the conditions of the imported cars under foreign registration in Ukraine.
