Vice President, Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis arrived in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine.

It is noted that his plane landed at the Odesa airport.

"Landing in Odesa! Vice-President and Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis has just landed in Odesa. A warm welcome from the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Serhiy Hrynevetsky and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," the statement reads.

According to the embassy, on October 28, Swiss Foreign Minister will arrive in Kyiv, where he will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

In January 2021, President of Moldova Maia Sandu visited Kyiv as the president for the first time.

According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the meeting with Sandu is the beginning of new relations between the two countries. He assessed that Moldovan leader Maya Sandu supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and is not afraid to call Crimea Ukrainian.
