Berdyansk Court has arrested one of the suspects in the murder of former Donbas Conflict veteran Vitaly Oleshko for 60 days as Hromadske reported.
"Berdyansk District Court arrested Artem Matyushyn, one of the suspects in the murder of former Donbas Conflict veteran Vitaly Oleshko for two months without a right for a bail," the message said.
It was specified that the suspect noted that he is not involved in the murder and was on vacation with the friends.
112 Ukraine correspondent noted that Matyushyn was without a lawyer at the court session as he did not pick up the phone. Due to this, a state later was appointed to the suspect and he was not familiarized with the case.
Also, the court will choose a restrictive measure for another three suspects today, on August 3.
As we reported earlier, two gunshot wounds took the life of Vitaliy Oleshko, the former volunteer fighter of Donbas battalion and the active participant in Donbas conflict. A gunfire attack occurred in the southeastern city of Berdiansk on Tuesday.
Oleshko was shot dead in the yard of a local hotel, in front of his wife. His friend Andriy Madzharov, who later uploaded a video on his social network account confirmed that the man sustained two wounds to his back; the killer used a shotgun.
Later it was reported that the shooter who killed Vitaliy 'Sarmat' Oleshko is the former fighter of Tornado volunteer battalion. The convict, formerly the sniper of the said unit, may face the life imprisonment for this particular crime.
