Supreme Anti-Corruption Court sets $223,632 bail for ex-MP Mykytas

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court chose the preventive measure in the bail in the sum of $223,632 for the ex-MP Maksym Mykytas. The former official is suspected in misappropriation of public funds in the amount of $3,334,146 during the exchange of apartments for militaries of the National Guard of Ukraine. The Ukrainian News reported that citing judge Serhiy Moisak. 

The court decided to elect the preventive measure for the suspected in the bail of $223,632 and obliged him to wear an electronic bracelet and hand over international passports. 

It is mentioned that the Prosecutor's Office asked the court to arrest the MP with the bail in the amount of more than $12,000,000.

As it was reported earlier, Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) planned to arrest MP of VIII convocation Maksym Mykytas. The former lawmaker was suspected in the abuse of the official position and organization of seizing property. The SAPO insisted on the arrest of ex-MP and provide the bail in the sum of $12,198 million.
