The incident happened on Saturday, April 10. It is noted that dust settled on parked cars, shop windows, and public transport stops. Locals even filmed the strange work of a vacuum cleaner and complained to the Lviv City Hotline.
Utility companies, in turn, said they would not pay the contractor for cleaning, but would not terminate the cleaning contract.
A video posted by a local woman shows that at first, the Karcher special vehicle was working in the vacuum cleaner mode. However, instead of sucking up dust and sand, it sprayed them around. After that, the driver turned on the washing mode and thus turned the dust into a swamp.
"There was actually even more dust than in the video, I just started shooting late. I asked the driver what he was doing. And he said he was vacuuming the street and cleaning. I asked how he vacuumed if all the dust was all around the place. To which he replied that it has to be so. He went out, looked and said again that it should be so," Yana Bryglevych said.
