On July 14, the website of the streaming service published the renewed terms and conditions of use for countries and currently, they include Ukraine. It became the ground for rumors that Spotify is going to “extend its borders”.
Finally, the situation was clarified in the evening after the official statement of the service about the launch in Ukraine and 12 new countries, including Moldova, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.
Totally, Spotify is available in 92 countries.
The service is free (with ads and restrictions) or by subscription:
- individual (Spotify Premium) that provides access to the full pace of services for $4.99;
- family (Spotify Premium) that enables six people to connect to the account for $7.99;
- for two (Spotify DUO) that enables to create automatically renewed playlist with music that meets the interests of both for $6.49;
- for students – for $2.49 per month.
It is possible to see the prices for subscription only on the website. It was impossible during the writing of the article, as well as subscribe to the service.
The proper buttons are present but they do not work.
