Head of State Security Administration Valery Geletey resigned as he reported on Facebook.
Geletey wrote the letter of resignation. He stated that he was not going to leave the office before the inauguration because it would be irresponsible.
“I wish force, wisdom and inspiration to my successor at the honorable service for the benefit of our Motherland. I am pleased that during almost five years we could make the professional service of the European level from the security institution. There were a lot of challenges, dangers, difficulties, big and small issues but it made us stronger and more experienced every day. Leaving the post of the Head of the State Security Administration of Ukraine, I will continue my devoted service to the State, People, Law. Honor is mine!,” Geletey wrote.
Valery Geletey was appointed at the post of the administration’s head on October 14, 2014. Then he was the Defense Minister of Ukraine but filed letter of resignation on October 12.
Ukraine’s PM Groysman wrote a letter of resignation, which is dated May 20. He said he would resign on Wednesday, May 22. Groysman headed Ukraine’s Government since April 14, 2016.
Besides, representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada Vadym Denysenko resigned.
