The state has paid 3.6 billion hryvnia ($126,635,004) of aid to physical entities – entrepreneurs and employees whose activity suffers from the enhancing of quarantine on January 8-January 24 as Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal reported on Facebook.
“The state paid 3.6 billion hryvnia ($126,635,004) of aid to entrepreneurs and employees. On December 31, the admission of the applications was finished for receiving of 8,000 hryvnia ($281) of one-off aid for people whose economic activity suffers due to the quarantine restrictions. Totally, over 480,000 people appealed for the receiving of aid,” the message said.
As of today, the Pension Fund has financed almost 456,000 applications. People, who registered on the last days of 2020, mostly have not received payments yet.
Besides, Shmygal reminded that sole proprietors of the first group are released from payment of single social security tax from December 1, 2020, until May 31, 2021.
As we reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed law #1030-IX on enhanced protection of employees and employers during quarantine.
