The criminal proceeding is opened due to the abuse of power and official position.

As we reported ex-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko went to the UK for a training course in the English language.

According to the spokesperson, the ex-Prosecutor General’s departure has nothing to do with the scandal in the United States over the transcript of a conversation between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which mentions the investigation of the Burisma company and the son of former US Vice President Hunter Biden.

Later Lutsenko has stated his readiness to testify in the investigation into the impeachment of US President Donald Trump, which was initiated through a scandal involving a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
