The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) registered the application relating to the NABU searches conducted in Kyiv City Administrative Court on July 26. Lawyer Yevhenii Solodko said this during the briefing, which was broadcasted by 112 TV channel.
“In the morning the statement about committing the crime under the article Interference in justice was registered in SBI. What does the interference consist of? The interference is in complete blocking of the court during Friday. Despite the fact that the places of making searches are pointed in the document and these are the cabinets of the judges and their assistants, the work of the whole court was banned, as well as the work of the whole informational center, the cases were withdrawn and actually the court did not work,” Solodko stated.
According to the lawyer, the withdrawn cases are counting now.
As we reported, on July 26, detectives of National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and officers of the Special Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) conducted searches in the premises of Kyiv District Administrative Court. SBI head Horbatiuk and NABU head Artem Sytnyk explained that the searches were conducted due to the suspicion of interference of the court's leadership in the work of the state bodies.
