Head of State Bureau of Investigation Roman Truba told about the results of the visit of Ukraine's fifth President Petro Poroshenko, who arrived in the establishment on July 24, earlier than scheduled, as Truba reported on his Telegram channel.
“Petro Poroshenko has arrived unexpectedly – all media knows this. Ex-President appealed with a request to hold his questioning today (July 24, - ed.) instead of July 25, as it was defined by the investigator,” Truba said.
At the same time, he noted that Poroshenko’s lawyers managed to solve the question of moving up the date of questioning – they contacted the investigator.
Truba promised not to interfere in pre-trial investigation and tell who to question.
At the same time, Truba expects Poroshenko would respect the work of the investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation and he would come to questioning on July 25.
Earlier, State Bureau of Investigation summoned Poroshenko for questioning on July 17, but he did not come.
