State Bureau of Investigation investigates criminal proceedings against 23 MPs of Verkhovna Rada, as First Deputy Director of the body Olha Varchenko said during parliamentary hearings, Ukrainian News reported.
According to Varchenko, central administration of State Bureau of Investigation investigates a couple of high-profile criminal proceedings including those against 23 Ukrainian MPs.
Besides, cases against 44 detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Investigation against NABU workers who were negligent during the investigation of embezzlement in Ukraine’s army.
“This criminal proceeding is on the final stage,” Varchenko said.
She added that the total sum of damage mentioned in the investigation is $89,2 million.
As it was reported, State Bureau of Investigation started working on November 27, 2018.
